Brainspotting

Healing trauma at the pace your nervous system trusts.

Brainspotting (BSP)

Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-body based modality that accesses deeper regions of the brain where trauma, stress, and emotional pain are stored. It works by identifying specific visual focus points (“brainspots”) that correspond with unprocessed experiences held in the nervous system.

What is Brainspotting (BPS)

Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-based therapy that helps access and process trauma, stress, and emotional pain stored deep within the nervous system. By identifying specific visual focus points called brainspots. This approach allows the brain and body to naturally process experiences that may be difficult to reach through talk therapy alone.

Within the Parami Integrative Pathway Method (PAIR-ME), Brainspotting supports healing at a pace that feels safe, attuned, and client-led. Many clients find it especially helpful when they feel “stuck,” overwhelmed, or disconnected, even after years of insight-based therapy. You do not need to relive or retell traumatic events for this work to be effective—your nervous system leads the way.

At Parami, Brainspotting is used to:

  • Access trauma held beneath conscious awareness

  • Support gentle, attuned processing at the client’s pace

  • Help clients who feel “stuck” or overwhelmed by traditional talk therapy

Brainspotting allows healing to unfold organically, honoring the body’s wisdom and capacity for self-regulation.
