A Holistic Approach to Healing and Growth

Rooted in Parami

At Parami Wellness, we view healing as more than symptom relief—it’s about cultivating the qualities that allow you to live with balance and clarity. Our approach addresses the whole person: emotional, mental, relational, and spiritual well-being.

At Parami we use The Parami Integrative Pathway Method (PAIR-ME) is a trauma-informed, mind-body-spirit approach designed to support deep, sustainable healing. By integrating EMDR, Brainspotting, somatic practices, and narrative therapy, PAIR-ME addresses trauma at the level of the nervous system while honoring personal meaning, identity, and lived experience.

This progression—first healing, then thriving—captures the essence of Parami: cultivating strengths that carry you forward.

Our aim? To help you discover your own Parami, and build the resilience and growth that sustain lasting change.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a brain-body therapy that helps process trauma and emotional stress stored beneath conscious awareness. This gentle, client-led approach allows healing to unfold without forcing verbal retelling, at a pace the nervous system can trust.

EMDR

EMDR is an evidence-based trauma therapy that supports the brain in reprocessing distressing memories so they no longer feel overwhelming in the present. It allows for meaningful healing without repeatedly reliving traumatic experiences.

Narrative Therapy

Narrative therapy helps clients separate who they are from what they’ve been through. By supporting meaning-making and identity restoration, this approach empowers clients to reclaim their story beyond trauma.

Somatic & Body-Based Practices

Somatic practices support healing by helping the nervous system regulate and the body release stored stress. This approach restores safety and connection by listening to the body’s cues rather than pushing through emotional overwhelm.

How do I know you are the right therapist for me?

I am not for everybody. My style may not be right for you as an individual, couple, or family.  That doesn’t mean therapy is not right for you. You may just need to find the right therapist for you.  We won’t know this until you schedule an appointment and come see me.  If we don’t vibe, no worries I will help you find someone who is a better fit for you.

Is this approach a good fit for me?

• Have experienced trauma or complex trauma
Including childhood trauma, sexual assault, domestic violence, medical trauma, or long-term emotional neglect, and find that your body still holds the impact even when you “understand” what happened.

• Live with Complex PTSD, PTSD, or chronic stress responses
Such as hypervigilance, emotional numbness, dissociation, intrusive memories, difficulty sleeping, or feeling stuck in fight, flight, freeze, or shutdown states.

• Are a Veteran, active-duty service member, or military family member
And are navigating the invisible wounds of service, moral injury, identity transitions, or the cumulative impact of repeated exposure to high-stress or life-threatening environments.

• Are a survivor of sexual trauma
And are seeking a gentle, consent-based, body-aware approach that prioritizes safety, choice, and restoring a sense of control and trust within yourself.

• Feel disconnected from your body, emotions, or sense of self
You may feel “numb,” overwhelmed, or unsure how to access your emotions without becoming flooded. PAIR-ME helps rebuild internal connection at a pace that feels safe and respectful.

• Are seeking an integrative, holistic healing experience
That honors the mind, body, and spirit—blending neuroscience-informed therapy, somatic awareness, narrative meaning-making, and holistic practices into one cohesive pathway.

• Want therapy that is culturally responsive and identity-affirming
This approach honors cultural context, lived experience, spirituality, and personal values as essential components of healing—not afterthoughts.

What if I’m afraid therapy will be too intense?

That concern makes sense—and it’s something we take seriously.

The Parami Integrative Pathway Method (PAIR-ME) is intentionally designed to avoid overwhelm. Therapy moves at the pace your nervous system can tolerate, not at a pace dictated by a protocol or timeline. Before any deeper trauma processing occurs, time is spent building safety, stability, and internal resources.

You are always in control of the process. Sessions can slow down, pause, or shift focus at any time. The goal is not to push you into painful material, but to support healing in a way that feels grounded, manageable, and respectful of your capacity.

Many clients are surprised to find that integrative trauma work can feel gentler than traditional therapy.

How long does a session last?

The first intake session will take 1.5 to 2 hours. Each session after that will last the approximately 55- 60 minutes.

What if I don't have insurance

You are still welcome here.

Parami Wellness offers private-pay options and a limited sliding scale to help make therapy accessible. Fees range from $45–$120 per session, including a $50 Veterans Priority Tier, based on availability and financial need.

Not having insurance does not affect the quality of care you receive. Many clients choose private pay for increased flexibility, privacy, or because their insurance does not cover integrative trauma therapies.

We’re happy to discuss options during a consultation to help determine what feels sustainable and supportive for you.

Who is the Parami Integrative Pathway Method For?

The Parami Integrative Pathway Method (PAIR-ME) is designed for individuals who are ready to move beyond survival and into meaningful, embodied healing. This approach is especially supportive for those who feel that talk therapy alone has not fully addressed the depth of their experiences.

Who This Approach May Not Be For.

The Parami Integrative Pathway Method (PAIR-ME) is not a one-size-fits-all model, and that’s intentional. This approach may not be the best fit if you are:

  • Looking exclusively for traditional talk therapy or advice-driven sessions

  • Seeking quick fixes, surface-level coping tools, or symptom-only treatment

  • Uncomfortable with body awareness, nervous system work, or experiential approaches

  • Not ready to engage in trauma-informed work that prioritizes pacing, consent, and internal awareness

  • Expecting a highly directive or prescriptive therapy style

PAIR-ME is designed for individuals who are open to integrative, mind-body-based healing and who value a collaborative process rather than a strictly structured or solution-only approach.

If this approach doesn’t feel like the right fit, referrals to other providers or modalities can be offered when appropriate.

What is talk therapy?

Talk therapy—also called traditional psychotherapy—is a form of therapy that focuses primarily on verbal communication to explore thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences. It often involves discussing challenges, gaining insight, learning coping strategies, and working through patterns over time.

For many people, talk therapy can be helpful. However, trauma is often stored not just in thoughts, but in the nervous system and the body. This is why some individuals find that understanding their experiences intellectually doesn’t always lead to relief from physical reactions, emotional overwhelm, or feeling “stuck.”

The Parami Integrative Pathway Method (PAIR-ME) goes beyond talk therapy by incorporating body-based and nervous-system–focused approaches, such as EMDR, Brainspotting, and somatic practices. These methods support healing at deeper levels, often without needing to repeatedly retell traumatic experiences.
